DIY skincare cuz they're so effective, cheap, and fun, and all-natural.
If you have your own blog, when did you get started, and why?
I got started by wanting to learn about how to do my own makeup for my wedding this last summer. So I watched hundreds of YouTube videos and even read books by professionals in the industry about makeup and skincare. A week before my wedding, I was totally broken out, and Michelle Phan's aspirin mask literally rescued me! So I decided to pass on the good and share my tips and tricks on skincare and makuep. I have to say that the blogging community has taught me so much. In the last 3 months, I have had the best skin and makeup of my life. :)

I love product reviews, i know all products work differently for everyone but if you have a majority of people reviewing the same product and agreeing with the results then it convinces me to purchase it.
6. If you have your own blog, when did you get started, and why?
I first got started after watching my favorite gurus on youtube, as well as when it came to buying something i wanted to know about the product, after reading the blogs, it made me want to start one myself and do reviews for things that some people havent gotten the chance to try. =]

1. Favorite makeup line? Illamasqua, although I am yet to own any of their products! I just love what they are doing. My wish list is packed with all things Illamasqua.
2. Your favorite weekend pampering session? I do my pampering mid week as I spend my weekends with my fella so I keep my girlie fun for my free time. Aspirin mask and a light fake tan, both make me feel good.
3. What are the three makeup items you can't live without? Concealer, Blush and Mascara. I swap the brands about but these items are a must.

I started writing in Nov last year simply because I could find tons of reviews for make up & skin care products for foreign prdts but nothing for products available in India. So as a consumer, there was no forum where I could read other users' experiences and also no way to stop these companies from plamming off useless, ineffective, shoddy products on us, or read about prodts that are absolute gems. Basically in this age of economy, it made sense to start a forum where people can share their views so all of us get the best for our skin without wasting money.
i am clueless with makeup so won't post my answers.. but i love reading these tips and ideas!

I like variety..Maybelline,Benefit, Nars, Mac, Etude house, Oriental Princess
2.Your favorite weekend pampering session?
Full body scrub, anti-aging/lightening/DIY face mask, L'oreal Hair Spa or Watson's honey treatment wax for my hair, of course a lil' bit of shopping always makes me feel pampered :)

I started in August this year coz I'm a beauty addict and my blog is an outlet where I can be myself and meet other beauty bloggers who would definitely understand why I need more than one foundation, blush, eyelash curler. And also because I want to start my own line someday :) Hopefully soon!!!
